About
HAAS/créa is a bespoke web and app development consultancy that has been named a top NYC based Web and App developer by Clutch Co. for several years in a row. We’re small but we achieve big results for our clients.
Our focus at HAAS is on service and partnering with our clients to achieve great outcomes and lasting relationships.
We understand business workflows, marketing, aesthetics and results. Moreover, as the principal contact for most of our clients, I invest a great deal of energy and effort into our relationships. Many of our clients have been with me for over a decade.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the work is connecting with clients to understand their processes and then proposing innovative and thoughtful solutions for them.
I love contributing our unique perspective and orchestration of skills, design and technology to get excellent results for our clients.
Having meaningful relationships with my clients is what I love most. Many of my clients have been with me for over 10 years and going strong. I believe it is because they know I care about them and it shows in our relationships and the quality of service I provide to them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our development typically follows a solutions oriented process:
1 - Initial discussions and discovery. We define objectives and goals with our client and determine priorities.
2 - Proposal & Budget. We design an overview of project phases and requirements to meet the goals and objectives we have defined.
3 - Scope Development. We clarify the specifics of how designs, features and workflows will work and the technologies we'll use to implement the development.
4 - Design & Development. We find that a move from flat design to active prototyping yields better results. We iterate with the client to refine the end result and achieve results that satisfy the objectives.
5- Deployment & Support. We prepare the infrastructure for real world use, put the project online and provide ongoing support which can include adding features, maintaining content, maintaining security and software updates and remaining available to assist our clients in achieving their business objectives.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you know what you would like and make sure that the developer you choose takes the time to really understand your business workflow and objectives as well as your technical requirements. Above all make sure you like their communication style and have a sense of good rapport. Good development is complex and requires effective communication and rapport to yield the best results.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are my objectives for the project?
What are the features I would like the project to include?
What assets and resources do I have that I can discuss with the development team so they can leverage them in their work?
How would I explain my business model and the problem I would like this development to solve for me?
When would I like to see a final implementation?
Will I want to support the project going forward or delegate some of those responsibilities to the developer?
