Mindful Marketing Solutions, LLC
About
At IBM, I enjoyed 20+ years of both marketing and sales - as an individual contributor and a manager and director. So when sales reps rely on marketing tools I rely on contacts in a variety of industries to assist me in getting deep discounts for marketing products and services necessary to complete assignments on time and on budget.
My success comes from working closely with clients to develop measurable goals and tracking results to achieve their success. I make it my responsibility to learn a client's business and identify their chief competitors. I develop a draft strategy and budget that fills the marketing funnel to produce a strong odds-of-success model.
I drive assignments such as social media management, unique website landing pages to drive sales, prepare presentations, customer-facing brochures, and follow-up contacts via email.
As a subject matter expert in legal IT. As such, my writing submissions have been published alongside other marketers in magazines such as LegalIT today. My LinkedIn page contains references to other publications and blog posts I have created on several topics. I invite potential employers to review those with my by-line and others written by me and credited to the client.
Since my clients' work comes before my own self-serving writing whether, on LinkedIn or my Website www.mindfulms.com, I have not given it the attention it deserves. I welcome feedback to my LinkedIn content https://www.linkedin.com/in/edcolandra/

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need to understand the business goals and plans to achieve those goals. Is the business strategy designed to drive measureable business results or just count click and followers? Is there a plan to get reviews from existing clients that support the claims the business makes? Is there a website that draws followers to share their content with their friends and colleagues? Once we prioritize the plan, then it’s purely a matter of executing and tracking the results to plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve held world-wide marketing management positions and have attended formal training in WordPress and CSS development. I have presented at legal technology conferences for HP and how their partners can leverage social media and traditional marketing channels to drive revenue and increase margins.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Basically my fee schedule is constructed with the amount of time required to achieve the client’s goals. Since small businesses are my target market, I offer a competitive price of $500 a month based on 2.5 hours a month. I do not charge for an initial meeting and proposal, and my services are able to be scheduled to run automatically in the event I am away from my office.
How did you get started in this business?
I joined IBM over 25 years ago in sales of office products. I then ran the IBM PC service group of the Northeast, eventually focusing on software sales and marketing roles. I joined iEnvision Technology, a small California based systems integrator serving the legal industry. I helped grow the business so that we were recipient of Partner of the year in 2010. iEnvision was purchased by Duff & Phelps, a multinational consulting company based in NYC. I chose to fulfill my commitment of one year and then move on to a solo practice.
What types of customers have you worked with?
STEM schools, Paul Mitchell Hair Schools, HVAC contractors, YMCA, Legal Technology Software companies, Medical Records Management (I am HIPAA certified), Legal Nurse Consultants and Expert Witness Providers.
