What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically spend a few moments talking with them so we can get to know each other and find out what are their main needs at the moment.
I like to begin the session with a brief guided meditation with the client. This helps them to not only relax but to get into a better state of mind so that their body receives the healing energy to the best capacity, thus making the healing session more effective.
Before beginning the Reiki healing, I will scan the chakras of the body to check to check how they are functioning. Even when a client tells me that they have a main area of concern (due to injury etc.), they may not be aware that one or several of their chakras are also indeed of a little "TLC" and we wouldn't want to deprive those areas of a little extra loving energy :).
After each session, I can offer suggestions as to other things the client can do to to maintain their positive vibrations as well as tips/advice to keep the energy within their homes positive.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Usui Reiki Master, meaning I have completed the necessary training and received all the necessary attunements (Levels 1, 2, and Master level attunements) from my Usui Reiki Master Teacher.
I am also certified in Pets & Animal Reiki, Reiki for Space Clearing, Guided Meditation, Crystal Energy Healing, Chakra & Advanced Chakra Healing.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with an array of individuals, all with various needs ranging from insomnia, to recovering from surgeries, to those needing help healing from past traumatic events. As well as children who are hyper-active due to adhd or other reasons. Parents find that having Reiki done at bed time or while the child is sleeping is a great way for them to wind down and avoid the difficulties of getting them to sit still.
Though not everyone is a night owl, I find that making late night sessions available not only helps those who have insomnia and a lot of difficulty sleeping , but also makes Reiki available to those who have hectic work/lives and just don't have the time for "self love" during the day.
