What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each customer is definitely different. I want all my customers to feel comfortable and at ease when setting up appointments. There’s no need for you to be a stranger in your own home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have training through National Notary Association. I also have my background check and insurance information on file with them as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
As of now the only thing that remains standard is the per signature fee which is $2.50, the traveling fee differs for location to location.
How did you get started in this business?
I realized there was a notary shortage when I was unable to get notary service back in 2009.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers come from different professions and different walks of life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a customer that did what most of us do (waited to the last minute) and sent out a request. I answered his request, went out to the home and we have some small talk. They then asked where was I coming from, once they realized it was a 2 hour drive, they appreciated my service more than they did getting service at the last minute.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If you don’t feel comfortable with a professional, keep looking until you find that one that’s good for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do not at anytime ask a professional to notarize anything that has already been signed or that’s not signed. You’re wasting our time.
