Alyssa holds a BA in Psychology from Reed College, a MA in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College, a MA in Psychology from The New School University and PhD matriculation in Psychology from The New School University. She has also taught meditation for 10 years. Alyssa has an unwavering belief in the tenacity of the human spirit and has worked successfully with individuals, families and couples alike.
In private sessions with Alyssa Gruber, you will be afforded a thorough consultation, after which she will craft a bespoke plan for your healing and growth. Each session will attend to revealing and resolving one's barriers to joy and peace, while increasing one's coping skills and self esteem. As result of working with Alyssa, one will develop a suite of skills to increase and sustain balance and harmony, while reducing stress, sleep difficulties, anxiety, addictions, unresolved trauma, depression, and intimacy issues.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During initial consultation, I will assess current state of emotional functioning. We will begin to examine symptoms and create a plan for healing and building resilience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Two Masters & PhD matriculation in Psychology. I have run mental health clinics, addiction programs, and private practice.
