About
I have many years experience working in the State and Federal courts of New York City and Long Island. I have so much experience that I know the quirks of many courts and judges, and more than a few judges know me by name.
I have done a lot of work concerning employment issues (including overtime and other wage issues, discrimination and harassment, and employment contracts, including restictive covenants, like noncompetes. I handle cases from start to finish. My experience includes arbitrations and mediations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I initially review a case by telephone. If I think I can help, I either ask for additional information (for example, a copy of any employment contract), or schedule a more thorough interview (face-to-face or virtually). If I believe you have a viable case, the next step is a retainer agreement (defining fee arrangements and up front costs, for example). After you've signed a retainer agreement, we can start working on your case, whether it is a demand letter to the employer, or commencing litigation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Juris Doctorate from a large university in Washington, DC. I have years and years of experience with litigation, and employment issues, including many continuing education courses, and certifications in mediation.
