Started in a home office space to now an entire office building. We are completely Green meaning we avoid printing and wasting paper as much as possible. With that being said all of our clients files are securely kept in an online file cabinet. All returns are e-filed, and majority of our exchanges can be done via our client portals. We accept every form of payment and can even set up payment plans. We pride ourselves on three principles: Professionalism, Personalization, and Quality
Clients visit the office to specifically see "Mr. Lee" (even though everything can be done online electronically). He is well known in the community and is associated with the NATP (National Association of Tax Professionals) as well as the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). What sets us apart is the use of modern technology and 35+ years of experience. We are always ahead of the game and keep updated on the changing tax laws and accounting issues that may impact our clients. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are currently by appointment only, which can be in person or virtual. After we have an initial appointment a client center portal is assigned and will allow for new clients to send their documents to our firm securely. When all documents are received a Tax Professional will begin working on your taxes and will follow up with perioically to ask questions and make sure everything is added accurately. When everyting is complete you will be sent an invoice electronically where you can pay online and you will then be sent your tax return to view and sign (all via your client center portal)

We have Certified Public Accountants and Tax Professionals that have over 10+ experience preparing tax returns

How did you get started in this business?
James Lee founded L & L Accounting Services in 1985. At that time, he had just become a certified public accountant (CPA) and worked out of his car and basement. As L & L continued to grow he moved to renting his first office front to now owning his own office building here at 1315 Grand Avenue Baldwin, NY. Clients visit the office to specifically see "Mr. Lee" (even though everything can be done online electronically).
