Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We pride ourselves on our model which affords us the ability to treat each individual soley per visit. Our initial visit is typically one hour long and consists of reviewing the individuals past medical history, current physical and psychosocial condition, wants, needs, and goals. After, we work with the individual to make a plan that works within their schedule, monetary abilities, and goals to help them overcome their current situation as fast as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each therapist at our clinic holds a clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Additionally, our therapists have multiple sub-certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and therapy, manual therapy, orthopeadic therapy, sports therapy, vestibular therapy, concussion therapy, and chronic pain.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We strictly adhere to the pricing of the individuals current health insurance. If the patient does not have insurance or does not want to use their insurance, we have a standard price of $75 for the initial visit and $50 for the follow up visits.
How did you get started in this business?
All of our team members have similar backgrounds as to why they wanted to start and be in a practice like ours. As a physical therapist working for other private practices or hospital based clinics, we found that we were unable to help patients get better quickly and in the mannor we thought was most ethical and honest. So we ultimately opened up our clinic to meet the needs of each individual and bring care back to healthcare.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a variety of customers ranging from acute pain to chronic. Some common conditions we treart are included but not excluded to: spinal pain, dizziness, migranes, chronic pain, sports injuries, pre-operative care, post-operative care, nerve injuries or conditions, neuromuscular disorders, and more.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently we had a patient who had chronic low back and leg pain greater than 1 year. Within 3 visits his symptoms were allready decreasing significantly and he has been able to walk, garden, and play with his grandchildren more without increasing symptoms.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
In general, I would say to any potential patient that they should be a smart health care consumer. You should be spending one - on - one time with your therapist or medical professional. Your care should always consist of more active care than passive. And your goals, wants, and needs should always be the most important factor to your therapist.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
- How many patients do you see at once?
- How often do you see my condition?
- Do you know how many visits someone with my situation typically needs to be able to recover?
-Do you have any avenue for me to reach out to you outside of office hours if I need?
- Do you review all bpdy systems and not just the body part in questions?
