What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I complete a psychosocial assessment and interview to determine what my client needs and wants from therapy. The client and I determine where to start and the direction of the work. A treatment plan is created with the input of the client. A timeframe is created to address the problems identified. Therapy is offered to work on the issues that the client has identified.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in Social Work with specific training and concentration in trauma informed care. I use CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Emotional Freedom Therapy,(EFT or Tapping).
