As the owner/operator of Office Works I have 30 years of bookkeeping experience, 22 years experience in all areas of QuickBooks. I also do tax prepartion for both individuals and businesses. I am a registered tax return perparer with the IRS. My clients love that I am a one stop shop.

I also can do the work onsite if necessary or pickup and delivery.
Mostly the people. Finances are very personal and people have to feel they can trust you. I am a very down to earth person and have made some good friends who are also my clients!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If it is possible I like to meet them face to face. Then take a look at their current books and bank statements to get a feel for what is needed and what their thoughts are how often they feel the work needs to be done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a number of QuickbBooks classes and have had some training from a CPA. I caught on very quickly so most of my training was on the job.
For taxes I attended H&R Blocks 180 hours of classroom instruction and then worked for them for 3 years.
