In one case, the client had not filed for 4 years and we were able to get them $16,000 in refunds. In another instance we filed 7 years of returns with the client paying tax one year and refunds in the other years offsetting the amount due and getting the client current so they could receive stimulus payments.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first like to discuss the clients needs in on the phone so we understand what tax items and issues are involved. We then set up an appointment and go over the return information with the client.
We review the clients prior return capturing any carryrover items that need to be considered for the current year. We then discuss any changes in income, dependents, deductions and gains and losses so we cover all areas of tax reporting and prepare a complete fileable tax return which we do electronically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CPA with over 30 years of experience andregistered as a tax preparer with the IRS.
