What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with every customer individually to understand not only their tax situation, but their business needs.
I always review prior year tax returns to make sure any carryover items are reflected in the current year and to make sure that nothing is missed in transition. Since I offer bookkeeping services, I can offer an opportunity to either teach my customers how to organize their records in the most accurate way or offer my service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nadia Levit is a CPA with over twenty years of diverse public accounting experience. My expertise spans across various industries from real estate, healthcare, education and banking. I worked as an auditor for Deloitte where I was part of developing, testing and maintaining solid internal financial controls for multi- national and international clients. The knowledge and technical skills obtained during my public accounting work were successfully applied in a private setting where I was employed as a Controller/VP of Finance and a CFO. My vast experience includes start up of hospital operation in NJ and restructuring of an accounting office for a private school in New York.
