What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Schedule an appointment to review prior year's returns and discusss any tax matters/forms that may have differed from then. Also, I would discuss any tax situations that may arise in the future, i.e. new job, pay increase, retirement etc. My clients have access to me full-time and not just during tax filing eason.
