Maretta L. Hodges is a high-performance executive administrator with nearly 20 years successfully spearheading advocacy efforts resulting in virtually $30M additional state grants for under-served college students in pursuit of educational equity and improved educational outcomes, for budgets exceeding $400M over an eight-year cycle. This dynamic visionary strategist leveraged exemplary communication as she co-sponsored legislation and successfully led a coalition of educational advocacy and budgetary strategy resulting in reinstating $12M funding.
Ms. Hodges is a Columbia University Ivy League scholar that has been recognized for her innate ability to capture student’s attention and motivate them as they achieve academic success in college. As President of the EOF Professional Association of NJ and Program Director of the Educational Opportunity Fund Program at Bloomfield College, Maretta earned a stellar reputation working with the New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education, New Jersey State Senators, and New Jersey Assemblymen and women to raise millions of additional grant dollars for thousands of underserved Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Students residing in the state of New Jersey.
In addition to her duties as President of Metamorphosis Consultation, LLC., Professor Hodges currently serves as a faculty member of Passaic County Community College in Paterson New Jersey, and Program Administrator for Columbia University's Community Impact in Manhattan, New York. Other experiences include the recognition as the National Action Network 2016 Educational Excellence Awardee, Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociological Honor Society, Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated memberships.
