What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Greet and answer any questions customer may have. Then proceed with their tax documents and give a free quote before finalizing submission on tax filing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Senior Tax Consultant been servicing clients for 10+ years. I keep myself abreast with tax laws and filing requirements annually. I also Have recieved my diploma upon completing tax university.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on tax situation and forms used to calculate clients taxes. Starting from $200 for a basic w2 governmental and upto $650 for the more complex tax returns example self employment or 3 or more w2 with 2 or more states being computed and calculated.
How did you get started in this business?
I intially started off working for Jackson Hewitt then branched off to doing taxes on my own servicing my clients obtained over the years through great work and word of mouth.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many clients from all walks of life. Every tax situation is different. I have serviced clients with one w2 many with 3 and multiple states. Clients thats have combined sources of income as well as those that have business income and retirement income as well. Again each tax situation varies.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have recently serviced a client that had 2 w2 from 2 states also with 3 different business sources of additional income who chose to itemize their deduction at which i had to manually calculate every expense which it turn made this tax return very complex. I am very fond of complex tax situations.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Best advice I can give is to make sure the pro has experience with dealing with your tax situation that way allowing you to get all the deductions and best return you qualify for.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should always be upfront with their tax situations and always let the pro know whether they owe any governmental institution so that the tax pro can be able to better assist them.
