It has helped clarify things and let me see a different perspective from my daughter’s point of view. Meredith is very perceptive and patient. This is the only waiting room I know of with coffee and snacks and I love the Bulletin board with pithy sayings.

EMDR has not even fully begun yet and I am already feeling a sense of empowerment which motivates me to better care for my well being. Because therapy in the past has been an unsuccessful and a waste of money. I have learned more in a few months with Meredith than I have in almost 10 years of on/off psychotherapy. I love the waiting room, with the tranquil music, and warm inviting vibe. Keep up what you are doing!!!

The first appointment is a 90 minute intake in whcih we will gather background information about the patient and lay out a theraputic plan. Following appointments are a full hour and usually once per week. If need be, depending on circumstance, we can see patients twice a week.

Meredith partnered up with Dr. Leo Bolona of Short Hills Psychiatric Wellness and opened the practice in Short Hills. Dr. Bolona is LSP's in house Psychitrist, some LSP patients will see Dr. B if they should need meds and some of Dr. B's patients will see Meredith for psychotherapy.

Advise for a patient seeking a therapist comes down to the right fit. Therapy is a sometimes intense and long lasting relationship, so there needs to be a high comfort level. The patient needs to implicitly trust the therapy and the process, so my recommendation is to not settle until you find that level of trust and comfort. Try several therapists if you need and most of time you will know when you have found the right person.
