Meredith partnered up with Dr. Leo Bolona of Short Hills Psychiatric Wellness and opened the practice in Short Hills. Dr. Bolona is LSP's in house Psychitrist, some LSP patients will see Dr. B if they should need meds and some of Dr. B's patients will see Meredith for psychotherapy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Advise for a patient seeking a therapist comes down to the right fit. Therapy is a sometimes intense and long lasting relationship, so there needs to be a high comfort level. The patient needs to implicitly trust the therapy and the process, so my recommendation is to not settle until you find that level of trust and comfort. Try several therapists if you need and most of time you will know when you have found the right person.
