What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Obtaining general information in regards to new customers. Getting an understanding of their tax history and any problems they maybe having.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Accounting and have also worked with one of the national tax preparation firm, H & R Block. I have extensive training with IRS by attending their yearly tax forum.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price is 175.00 for an individual return.
How did you get started in this business?
I started this business January 2000. After receiving my degree in accouonting i realize that tax preparation was the best part of the accounting classes that i had. I enjoy working with numbers. Once i started processing returns I realize that a lot of people had tax problems and issues not just federal but also state. I decided then that i would learn everything i could in regards to tax laws, regulations and procedures to help the taxpayers.

I have worked with customers with various tax background and tax issues. From individuals to Large Business and multi-state
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The last event was Its in the Bag. A non profit organization which gives back to the community. This event required that every woman that attended to bring a pocketbook full of items that a woman may need. These pocketbooks were then given to the women shelter around my area.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Your taxes should be prepared by the rules and regulations that the IRS and State has mandated. Not by guessing or assuming information. Look for a tax pro that speaks the truth in regards to tax preparation and that can back it up with proven documentation.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do i need a pro to process my taxes for me? Do I understand all the rules and regulations to prepare my own taxes. If use a store brand tax prep system will it give me the results that I am looking for? Do i have an hour to wait for the IRS or State to answer my phone call? Do I know about all the deductions or credits I am entitled to?
