About
I specialize in working with small-to-medium sized businesses to enhance their web sites and web applications. I am a one-man shop and capable of doing design as well as development.
The technologies I work with are WordPress, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular, React, Vue, jQuery), PHP, and MySQL. If you don't understand what all of that means, that's ok! I am a professional and I can match the technology with your business needs.
I have advanced knowledge and experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and accessibility standards and can assist your business with those as well!
I like the creativity of web development as well as coding and getting to know my clients and their business so I can partner with them to grow their business utilizing my skills and experience. For me, it is all about the return on investment (ROI). Once you hire me you will benefit from my services with a modern well-structured website or a web application which will bring your business more leads and thusly more sales.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with a potential new customer over the phone or video to get to know their business needs and the type of project they need to be done so that it in line with my skills and experience.
One we agree on a timeline, project budget and the particulars, I will begin the project and keep in constant communication with my clients until project completion. I don't expect payment until the client is fully satisfied.
While I am happy to take a one-time project I prefer long-term relationships with my clients if possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a four-year degree from Elon University in Communications as well as a certificate in graphic design from the School of Communication Arts.
Additionally, I have continuing education training in web design and web development from local community colleges and training centers as well as on-line training via Udemy.
Lastly, the best training of all has been through working as a consultant at such companies as SAS, Lenovo, Duke Energy, and Fidelity Investments.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I assisted a start-up client to build a website presence that would showcase their company, what they offer, and also would allow them to update and maintain the website themselves in the future.
