My purpose of starting my own business, this year, originated when I was working for a Tax office and found that their were so many individuals and small businesses that needed service more than the 3-4 months given every tax season. It amazed me to see their were so many people after the season that needed assistance with simple tax returns, and bookkeeping services and I felt I needed to do something to help people who couldn't afford those big name companies.
My intentions are to serve the person who just wants affordable bookkeeping service and/or tax preparation. I welcome small businesses, just starting up in need of outside bookkeeping services or any small business who has found themselves growing and unable to keep up with the paperwork. Whether you are in need of full charge bookkeeping services, tax preparation, payroll services or preparation of 1099's or W-2's for your business, I am at your service.
My tax preparation business specializes in individuals, small businesses, and family partnerships. I not only serve the small business community, but have found that there are people out there that are unable to manage writing checks, obtaining an EIN number, reconciling checking accounts or a spouse, who took care of all the paperwork, is now unable to do so and are in need of someone to periodically help them out with their record keeping.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy meeting our customers face to face and LISTENING to them. What do they need done? What deadlines exist? We hope to convey to them that we are a trustworthy company and have their best interests in mind at all times
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been preparing taxes for over 10 years. I am very familiar with tax codes and various state tax laws which enables me to work efficiently. I've taken a 60-hour qualifying education course from the state of NC and a certified approved provider within the past 18 months. Registered by the IRS with my Preparer Tax IdentificationNumber (PTIN).
How did you get started in this business?
I started as a receptionist in a tax office and loved serving others. I realized that I enjoyed seeing the faces of people who normally weren't educated on tax savings and deductions and now with my assistance they were able to have a better tax experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Helping a client who owe 6,000 in back taxes clean up his tax debt in two years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Here's why you should hire a tax professional to handle your tax preparation. While comprehensive tax software can handle these more complex tax situations, it cannot talk with you about your plans that could affect your taxes. A tax professional, however, can outline what might happen if you want to donate rather than sell the stock your Uncle Henry left to you. A tax adviser can offer insight into tax law changes that might affect you and whether you should make certain moves now or wait.
By signing your tax return, you are responsible for all the information on the forms. If you do your taxes yourself, that means you're the one the IRS will come to with any questions — possibly years after you've filed.
