I love being able to serve people. I enjoy what most people are afraid of and that's taxes. I love learning and sharing what I know with my clients. I am willing to teach one what I know if they so desire to learn.
I have been preparing taxes for over 30 years. I have worked for a larger firm, Jackson Hewitt Tax Services for over 7 years before starting my own practice. I just couldn't justify the prices I saw being charged so I decided to start my own practice with affordable rates.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Client intake sheet to get information. I review the client information sheet and ask additional questions to know what services will be needed as well as forms to be filed.
If client is remote, after intake sheet is received, I have a phone call discussion to review and confirm the client needs.
I then will prepare the return and send it to the customer for review if remote or print a copy and go over with client line by line before transmitting. I also review options for paying for the tax return, have client to sign and then transmit the return.
If a bank product(bank check printed, refund transfer, or Walmart cars) is used for refund options, I notify client of expected refund date once I am aware of funding date.
