About
I have a masters degree in counseling and it helps me connect with my clients. We discuss all of the needs and wants regarding each person's financial plan. Only then do we talk about solutions to help each individual reach her/his goals. Rising Tide, Inc. is a Registered Investment Advisory company. We have a fiduciary relationship with all of our clients. We must operate in your best interest and we are compensated by fees, not commissions. Rising Tide, Inc. was founded in 1999. Timothy C. Hucks, CEP has 40 years experience in financial services.
I enjoy working with my clients. We develop real relationships. I know about families, issues, successes and hopes for the future. Some of the best meetings are lunches where we talk about life as well as investments.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We believe in a three step process. The first meeting allows RTI and a prospective client to learn about each other. If both parties like what they hear and want to proceed, then a second meeting is set to gather financial data, discuss goals and attempt to discern suitability and a risk profile for the client. The third step involves financial illustrations regarding anticipated needs for the future, projections using certain assumptions to see how those needs can be met, and specific recommendations to implement the plan/recommendations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
