What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I interview the client to help determine what they need to complete their returns. Once we proceed, I email a client portal that all their documents can be securely uploaded and emailed. I process the return and send a summary that can be reviewed. All signatures can be captured remotely.
If the client is in the area and wants to come to the office, We can also accommodate them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This will be my 16th tax season.
I have experience with all complexity of returns.
I specialize in self employed and rental property. Also 1120s and Trusts
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is not standard. I will confirm the price after the initial interview.
How did you get started in this business?
I have owned a Liberty Tax Service for 16 years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Seasoned Tax Preparers have the knowledge to know the questions to ask to help you get the refund you deserve. This knowledge is what you need to look for when shopping. Just as in any other markets, you get what you pay for.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Look at your last years return so you know what you filed.
