My Human Resources career extends to over 15 years.
Over that time I experienced having positions that I was not happy in. Feeling like I was stagnated and even questioning if I made the right career choices. I’ve made the decisions to suffer through until “the opportunity came” to do something different.
It wasn’t until back in 2001 I was living in South Florida (with my husband at the time). I took a position as an Account Executive for a computer training company, because I had just go laid off and I needed to work. While I truly believe it takes special people with special superpowers to be successful in any sales position, I knew I didn’t have that power. But that was okay.
I was soon to realize my superpower was in the area of career development and training others to be successful. I wanted to see them succeed in their chosen career field.
That’s when I first discovered the power of mindset in your career. I became the CAREER CREATOR and ever since, has been my secret to promotion/advancement opportunities that I still use today.
I knew I wasn’t the only one who should benefit. So I developed Keep It Movin Mindset Strategies personal and professional development services to help other career seekers who are ready to move out of their own way to become CAREER CREATORS.
