The services I provide are accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, CFO, and consulting services. My main specialization is working with small businesses and entrepeneurs handling their back office operations, while they focus on the nature of the business. I treat and handle each client with respect and care as I am working with them and helping their businesses grow. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually have a discovery call so that they can tell me exactly what they need and I can tell them what services I can provide that will bring them more value to their business. After the engagement letter is signed then I provide them of what documents I need for an easy onboarding session. I explain to my new clients that having a positive and smooth onboarding session is the key to the success of the new working relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University here in Charlotte, NC. Also, I have my Master's degree in Accounting with a concentration in Auditing from Southern New Hampshire University in New Hampshire. I have over 10 years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping. Not to mention, I have over 6 years of preparing individual and small business tax preparation. I am proficient in Quickbooks Online, Xero, Sage, NetSuite Accounting software.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have a flat rate when it comes to tax preparation, consulting, and CFO services. But for basic bookkeeping services including preparing financial statements, I have different packages that I charge monthly prices for those services.
How did you get started in this business?
Well I worked in corporate America for over 15 years, and wanted to really use my degrees more. Also, I wanted to start my own business but I was just doing tax returns for the last 7 years. And finally decided to really focus on expanding beyond tax returns and start my bookkeeping/consulting business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done federal/state tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Also, I have done some consulting work for small and e-commerce businesses. I dont have a niche right now because I enjoy working with a variety of people in different industries from diverse backgrounds.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Know exactly what you want and need for your business or tax situation.
Ask questions if they dont know or understand what the pro is trying to explain to them.
Make sure they have all important documents (financial and bank statements) to present to the pro.
