About

What do you want in life? How can I help you achieve it? Helping others achieve their goals is my passion. I currently work with individuals with disabilities to obtain competitive employment and it reminds me every day that with the right help and support, goals are always achievable. I want to help and support others in the community; whether it's to find the right job, or to work through their feelings of anxiety, depression, frustration, or any other emotion that you think is holding you back from fulfilling your goals.

I have a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University. I have used that degree to start my own private practice as a PLPC and also work for MO Vocational Rehabilitation as a vocational counselor; supporting individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment. I am a certified rehabilitation counselor. I have training in case management to help clients find community resources for the various needs they have outside my office. The clients I work with all have mental health disorders that have created barriers in their lives, and I always do whatever I can to help them overcome those barriers. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression in my own life, I have taken on a clientele in my private practice that addresses those issues, and how to cope with those feelings so that you can move forward with your goals and your life. I have a background in elementary education with a certification in special education. I've used this background in so many ways working with younger clients and supporting parents who are working through challenges with their kids. My schooling and internships have prepared me to work with a variety of clients with a variety of issues, no concern is too small or too large for us to tackle together!

I cannot accept insurance at this time, my session fee for an individual 50 minute session is $45.

I started doing private practice in my last year of my masters program and built my practice up from there since August of 2018.

My experience at my internship and work with the state has given me a wide variety of clientele. I've worked with clients as young as age 11 and as old as 65. I've helped with a variety of mental health conditions, such as; depression, anxiety, panic, personality disorders, mood disorders, health concerns, learning disabilities, and much more.

Take your time! This is a big decision and the most important thing is how you feel, you want to feel comfortable and safe working with your counselor and that can take some time, but always advocate for what you need and you'll find the right person to help!
