Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get to know my clients on a personal level so I know what they are needing in financial services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in this field for over 20 years. I have an education in Accounting, over 20 years experience in Accounting, and over 6 years experience in Auditing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
How did you get started in this business?
My journey in tax preparation began in 2003 when I started working for a tax preparation company in my city. In 2005, I transitioned to working at the IRS Lock-box, where I was exposed to various tax-related software, products, and services. This experience inspired me to launch my own company in June 2007. Initially, I prepared taxes from home for friends and family, but as word spread, my client base grew into the hundreds. With my company’s expansion, I’ve brought on a contractor to assist with tax preparation, but I personally review and finalize every tax form before submission. I work directly with and for you, ensuring accuracy and maximizing your returns.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have a wide range of individual, small-business, corporation, non-profit organizations, and self-employed clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice would be don't just look for someone who provides a service, but a person who loves what they do. This will differentiate the person who is just doing it for the income versus someone who will put in their all for that income.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What services they are needing, what do they need to bring with them, how or can filing or not filing affect them, how did they file previously, what changed from previous year.
