Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A good consultation is key to helping understand underlying causes of a patients problem. Our exams start out with basic things like Orthopedic, Neurological, and Palpatory exam, and then delve into more suble exam like soft tissue, meridian pulse diagnosis, or functional movement distortion evaluations depending on if the client is getting chiropractic, acupuncture, myofascial work, or dry needling services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dr. Steve is board certified in Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, and Acupuncture. I consistently exceed the industry average for continuing education and advancement in our profession.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes - Our basic services is $50 dollars, with advanced therapies ranging from an extra $10 to $40 for therapy and body work.
How did you get started in this business?
Dr. Steve started a clinic in Arnold, MO and in 2006 move to Brentwood and added Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and Myofascial release work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I focus on unresolved and chronic conditions that don't seem to respond well to other forms of therapy or providers. It’s not that my treatments are so much better, but that my evaluations are top notch allowing for proper treatment strategies to be implemented.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Every day we see miracles, but the ones that stand out are those patients who arrive hopeless and despondant, and walk out with improvement in their health, and their attitude. I love seeing that spark return - the spark that says, I can do this, I can get better, I can enjoy life again.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There are a lot of choices in St. Louis to pick from - and most of them good choices. I advise peole to give any provider at least three visits to know if they are the right fit for you, and the right choice to help you get better. Remember that not all physical medicine providers are the same, and just becasue one doctor didn't help, doesn't mean another may not be able to help.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1.) How much experience does the provider have with cases similar to yours.
2.) How long does your condition usually take to improve.
3.) Will other providers be needed to help accomplish your goals.
4.) How much improvement is realistic to expect.
