Founded in 2012, we're based in Kansas City, Missouri, but work with companies in other areas of the U.S. Our marketing, website design, graphic design, writing and public relations work have won numerous awards.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First meeting: We meet with clients for an hour or so to discuss goals and project ideas.
Following up: we elaborate on project(s), timeline and fees.
All's great and we get to work, keeping our clients informed every step of the way in their preferred communications style (texts, calls, emails, video conferencing and/or in-person meetings).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our partners have degrees in journalism and design. Our professional experience includes advertising, brand communications, journalism, public relations and marketing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We prefer to quote projects by flat fees depending on the variables.
What types of customers have you worked with?
MAD Creative is a designer’s designer, working most successfully with businesses in this realm such as architects, architectural designers, artists, fashion designers, historic preservationists, home furnishings retailers and interior designers.
We also work especially nicely with companies that want to be the leaders in their niche. A client, a boutique law firm specializing in First Amendment law including nonprofit fundraising and telecommunications, is a prime example.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
KC Design Week is held each April, and is usually a week-plus of guest speakers, tours (favorite is the Homes By Architects Tour) and classes in design. It's not just for professional designers, it's for those who appreciate great design! One of our partners has been on the steering committee for the past three years.
