What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

At DDM Global, our process typically starts with our Discovery or introductory phase where we typically meet for 30 min - 1 hour and learn about your business and its website or online needs. We also will provide a run down of the rest of the process at that time, depending on the needs of the project. 

From there, we usually move to our Design phase where we strategize a plan or actually provide some sort of graphic design deliverable. 

Moving right along, we go into Development if it is program or web related, before we move into our Delivery and Maintenance phases which typically conclude the project and move customers into our on-going support cycles. 

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Everyone in our company is well trained withing their respective trade/talent, and continue education as classes and certifications become available, ie; Google, Adobe, Hubspot certifications, etc. 

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We strictly charge at a set hourly rate, which changes depending on the needs of the project, ie: support, design, development, etc.

Customers are quoted based on estimates on total number of hours dedicated by DDM Global resources, and are broken down through the phases mentioned previously. At the end of the project the customers are only billed on the hours actually used. In some rare cases where the project scope changes, additional hours may need to be added to the end of the project for completing.

How did you get started in this business?

Back in 2010, small businesses were blooming and were looking to the internet for reasonably priced, online marketing services (through the ever growing popularity of Google and local searches) and web presences. When the call to move the traditional store fronts from brick and morter to online and digital, our company was born and there to answer the demand. 

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with clients of all different sorts and sizes. We work well across all verticals and are not industry specific. We have customers with employee sizes from 1-500, and work in industries from Home Improvement to Retail to Transportation to General Sales and Consulting. 

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Hire people you like and trust. No one knows your business like you do, so it is important that the person you hire listens first, and offers solutions based on the needs of your business. In this industry of ours, we don't sell, we simply advise and cater to the needs of our clients. 

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Questions would be different on a project per project basis, but being able to communicate what is working well for your business and what isn't working well will help identify areas of relief for a web/online solutions provider like ourselves.
