Healing Hearts Counseling is dedicated to providing the individualized counseling based on the need of each patient. Our services include individual, family,couples counseling children & adolescence, counseling Services can be provided In person in my office located Rolla, Mo or online through Google Meet or Zoom, in the confort of you own home.
I have 16 years within the school system as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, Family Liason and Principal. I have been in the mental health field since 2006. The one thing I really enjoy about my job is I can guide and encourage not both clients and counselors in training. I love being apart of others life in order to make them feel more impowered. The only thing I really enjoy is it is fullfilling and I learn something new each day.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the patient makes contact I would ensure they understood the intake process and we would work together on developing a schedule that meets their needs The first session is spend getting to know patients and getting understand of their needs and a develope a plan of action based on what the partient wants from counseling. The first session is more for building a rapport between the patient and the counselor they are assigned.

MS in Counseling & DBA in Human Resources

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I work with all major insurance companies to provide you with affordable mental health services. I am three different EAP panels and would always be willing to apply for yours if I am not on it already. I accept several means of self-pay. Self-pay is based on sliding scale but is never more then 65.00 a session to include contact between session when necessary. Anger Management Sessions/classes are never more then 25.00. Intern/ Counselors in Training (directly under my supervision) is never more then 30.00
How did you get started in this business?
I started out my professional career as a teacher for children/adoloscent with behavioral and emotional issues. As I moved up to special services coordinator and then principal I realized my real passion is working directly with adults, parents, children and adoloscents who struggle with their mental health or substances use. I have been working in the mental health field since 2006 and optained my counseling license in 2007. I have worked in Mental Health-Substance Use Disorder facilities since that time. I offically open Healing Hearts Counseling in 2019. I optained my doctorate in Business Administration-Human Resources in March of 2021
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with Children, Adoloscents, and Adults. I have worked with patients with trauma, substance use, depression PTSD and anxiety plus many other mental health issues.
The intern/counselors in training have been working in the field of mental health, autism or education for several years. They are well educated and will be under the supervisor of License therapist.
