We have 5 locations serving Northeast MN , Columbia Heights MN, Brooklyn Center MN, 2 locations in St Paul, Arcade/Maryland and University/Lexington. I have been with liberty since we opened our franchise 6 years ago. I have moved up from tax preparation my first year to Operational Manager of all 5 locations. I'm also the Hiring Manager /Tax Instructor. I teach at least 8 classes every year to prepare for the upcoming year. I do Business, Individual, S Corporations, Parnerships and Sole Prioprietorship Taxes. I'm also a Fraud Document Recognition, FDR for ITIN, Financial Services Specialist. My number one goal is to help others in any and every way I can. I do at least 600 tax returns a year and continuing to grow each year. I love to help people reach their goal by giving to them what was giving to me and that is my time and skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is contact me first, make sure you have all the documents you need, if we need to get some I can help you do that and be on time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have all the educational requirements that Minnesota and IRS requires and more. I have my Associates Degree, so I've done Accounting, Bookkeeping for alot of my clients. I do Individual, S Cooperations, Business and LLC Tax Returns

It all depends on how many forms you have to file and the year. I do give discounts on past year returns.
How did you get started in this business?
I moved you MN 10 years ago and I was in food service for 32 years and never in my wildess dreams think I would be doing Taxes but there was another calling for me and I have to follow his plan. I was determined to do what ever it took to help someone else’s life. So I started working for Liberty Tax 7 years ago, continued my education and now I’m the Operational Manager for 5 stores.

Just make sure they have the knowledge of what they are doing.
