Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a bit of conversation, determine what their needs and boundaries are and how I can best satisfy those needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken classes at St Paul College and have been working for the past 3 years as an independent massage provider.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Rates are $80/hour and $120/90 minutes for swedish massage, $100/hour and $140/90 minutes for deep tissue.
How did you get started in this business?
I was always that girl starting the massage chain, and my hands always seem to know where the trouble spots are and how much pressure to apply. I decided to make it my carreer a few years ago and have not looked back since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have seen a variety of clients, with troubles that range from excema, arthritus, locked joints and very deep knots. I am game to try my hand at anything, and can research and study to find the best method for a problem.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a company in your area of expertise?
I feel that a firm sense of trust and reliability is very important when starting a business relationship, and that starts with the first email right to the end of a session. Asking questions and feeling comfortable are essential to a healthy working relationship, and if missing, can spoil a soothing massage experience very quickly.
What questions should customers think through before talking to companies about their needs?
What they want from a service and what they are willing to pay for it. When they are interested in starting that service and if any impediments will hinder the completion of an agreement upon contract.
