About
My name is Marco Montermini and I'm the owner of MRM Accounting Services, LLC. I started this company 8 years ago and serve businesses and non-profit organizations. I earned a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of St Thomas in St. Paul. I worked in the corporate world for about 17-18 years as an accountant.
My goal as a business owner is to help businesses and non-profit organizations with all their accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll needs. I provide the full array of accounting services ranging from financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, daily bookkeeping, grant management (non-profits), cash flow management and projection, sales tax, and payroll. My goal, however, is not only to complete the work, but also to serve as a trusted advisor by reviewing financial results and help the organization grow and be profitable.
I enjoy immensely helping business owners organize their finances and helping them navigate through the numbers. I enjoy the actual acocunting work and absolutely love budgeting and forecasting.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I like to receive basic information on what the client is looking to outsource. Then, I usually like to talk to the potential client to go over specific questions I may have about the business and also answer any questions the client has for me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Biology
I have a Master's degree in Business Administration (emphasis in Accounting).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing varies depending on the complexity of the business, # of transactions per month, # of bank accounts, etc. However, my standard hourly rate is $80 per hour with a minimum fee of $500 per month.
