At Nicholas Zimet, L.Ac. Acupuncture we provide integrated health care to bring our patients optimal results. By treating each case for its individual and unique needs, we are able to achieve quick and significant results. Our services include traditional and modern styles of acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, nutrition and diet therapy, massage, and more. We believe that the future of health care is integrated medicine that is compassionate, effective, and informed by the best practices and scientific knowledge available. Being an acupuncturist with a background in research and science allows me a unique ability to provide this care and I take pride in our professional role in newly emerging health care models. Nicholas Zimet graduated Suma Cum Laude at the top of his class with a 3 years Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. He is licensed by the board of medical practice and nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is a faculty member at the Northwestern Health Sciences University where he teaches clinical medicine. He has a BA cum laude in Psychology and Biology and has worked in several research and medicine positions before entering work in traditional medicine.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with all new patients for an initial consultation where we gather their health history and perform appropriate examinations. This leads us to diagnosis and a treatment plan which is discussed with new patients. Typically we then proceeed to treat the patient on that plan going forward.
