What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers, I have them complete a questionaire and provide me a breif description of the services they are seaking. For example if it is for a business tax return or if it is for an individual tax return.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2002 with my Bachelors degree with an emphasis in accounting. In 2006, I earned my CPA licensure and have an active license still today.

Each client is looked at separately and a fee arrangement is set based on type of work or tasks required.
How did you get started in this business?
I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. After working in the private sector for 18+ years and gaining experience in an array of industries which allows me to be a valuable asset to your company.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with clients in manufacturing, construction and service industries.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Most recently it would be the decision to go off on my own and continue he growing RJL Tax & Accounting.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for an accountant who will advocate for you and build a relationship with you vs just being a number.
