Hi! I'm Jenn, owner, Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician at Opal and Sage. Opal and Sage was created to be a magically inspired space where you can reconnect to yourself, remember who you are, and gain the inspiration and courage to create your best life while looking and feeling great. I have been a massage therapist almost 5 years and an esthetician under 1. I specialize in relaxation massage and would describe my style as flowing and meditative. Because I also personally have expierence with tennsion headaches and facial pain, this type of therapeutic massage has become a passion of mine too. When it comes to skincare, I believe that you shouldn't have to sacrifice relaxation for results which is why I also infuse massage into my skincare services as well. Opal and Sage is located inside the Autumn Moon Holistic Wellness Collective in downtown Lake Orion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For massage, I have an intake form that will ask your health history and tell me information on they type of outcome you would like from your session. I will ask you if you have any areas that are bothering you, and also what level of pressure you would like.
For skincare, I have an intake form that will ask you about your health history, your sun exposure, types of products you are currently using, and your desired outcome for your treatment.
Both forms are manditory and help me to keep you safe as a client and they are also required by my insurance policy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2015. I graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institue in Southfield, MI. I am also a level 3 certified Reiki practitioner.
I obtained my esthetician license in 2019 and graduated from Michigan College of Beauty in Troy, MI.
