I have been in tax preparation for over 15 years. I enjoy helping clients get back as much as legally possible and educating.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them to download an app to their phone and follow the directions. This allows for secure transmission of documents. If I need more information I will send them a private message via the app. At times I do wish to talk to the client so I will make an appointment to contact them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 150 hours of tax related training and annual refresher courses.

Our federal package run from 60 to 800 depending on the complexity.
For state returns we charge $60 per state needing to be prepared
For locality (city) returns we charge $30 per city needing prepared
Military, Fire, EMS, Police receive a 30% discount.
we are able to prepare prior year returns as well.
You may either pay fees upfront or have them paid from your refund (to have them held from your refund there is a fee)
How did you get started in this business?
I started with Jackson Hewitt corporate store and then transferred to a franchise.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals 17 years and older and from the simplified returns to 200 stock transactions and self employed.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always enjoy helping client understand the complex tax laws. I enjoy showing parents why they should allow their children file their own return.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Alway vet your preparer. Some say they know what they are doing however they haven't kept up on the changes in the tax code.

Is my preparer trained?
