About
I have been preparing taxes and getting clients the most refund they have coming or getting their tax liability as low as possible. I have been in the business for 23 years. I opened my own business two years ago because the corporate company I was working for was forgetting who they were working for, you, I have brought the importance of working for my clients best benefit.
I love getting my clients the best possible refund or owe the least amount of taxes on their returns! I love helping my clients understand their returns as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They send me their paperwork either by mail or email. They can also drop off if they live in the area. I send them a client form to fill out and then I prepare their taxes for them. Once they are complete I let them know and then I can send an email for signatures and once I receive the signature page and payment I can efile their return. We can also have an appointment on Zoom if they have any questions or to go over the return in detail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in Accounting and Taxation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing is based on the forms that are needed to prepare their return. The price starts at $50 for a federal return with only one W-2 and no dependents. If they need any other forms or state returns filed the price goes up from there.
How did you get started in this business?
I took over the family business after working for a tax prep corporation for 14 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of clientele and prepared all types of returns. I can prepare all states except New York.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was recently very happy to help a client who had her returned prepared wrong by someone else and I amended her return and she received a most $3,000 in a refund.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You need to make sure you look for people with experience and who are keeping updated on the ever changing tax laws. You also want to make sure that person is easy to work with and is keeping you informed of what your return means instead of just telling you the amount you are getting back or owe. Also look for someone who will take the time to help you look towards the future and prepare for changes in your tax situation. Another important piece is to make sure your tax pro is available all year long to help with any letters you might receive.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Are you available for consulting all year long?
When is the last time you took any type of class or seminar for taxes?
Can you help me make sure I am doing the best with my tax situation and getting the most credits I can get?
