Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new client?
We prefer a face to face meeting with a new client. We want the opportunity to get to know you and for you to get to know us. We are happy to meet with you, free of charge and no obligation, before the craziness of tax season is upon us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an enrolled agent, I am required to take at least 30 hours of continuing education each year. All of our tax preparers take extensive education programs and tax updates each year.
Do you have a standard pricing system? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing depends on the work needed. Each return is unique. Our base rate starts at $150. We have found that we are reasonable for our area and very competitive.
How did you get started?
I started working for a national firm years ago when my children were young, working evenings. After 10 years, working with clients and teaching employees, I ventured out on my own. We've been in our current location for 13 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of tax rerurns, individual, business, estates and trust. We also provide bookkeping and payroll services for small companies.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a professional in your area of expertise?
Take the time to meet with them before the craziness of tax season.
