My goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment where children, teens, adults, couples and families can open up, share and find help in regards to personal struggles and trauma that occur throughout the life span. I am a Christian who counsels and have 14 years of experience. I work helping those who struggle with the tangled web of interpersonal conflicts who have limited insight about their struggles whether those relationship are with significant other, in marriage,home, work, or with peers. My passion is to help people find their purpose. ACCEPTING NEW REFERRALS.
I enjoy working in partnership with people to find solutions and answers to the whys of conflict and problems and to rejoice when they find their purpose . I work with Christians and non-christians face fears and anxiety and depression and with those who struggle with faith and religion. I am trained in EMDR to help those who struggle with PTSD, early childhood trauma and abuse, anger management, grief and loss. I assist individuals and couples who struggle with communication. Special Training in GAMBLING and in other addictions and help with recovery plan.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To discuss and listen to the current areas of conflict and past areas of trauma. I am an eclectic therapist and try to fit the trainings techinques that fit the client. I don't force my beliefs but work in partnership with the client to develop a plan to find solutions and answers.
The ultimate goal is to build a healthy therapuetic relationship where change can take place and relieve anxiety, depression and psychological and physical pain.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My past education include being an ordain minster who pastor a church for 10 years. I continued my education at Spring Arbor University in Michigan. I have my own private practice in okemos, Mi and in Grand Rapids, Mi. I am trained in trauma and as an EMDR therapist as well as a Gambling Counselor. If I can help please contact me.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I believe most insurances and if no inusrance I work at $60.00 a full hour session.
How did you get started in this business?
Long story but as I lived and found my path in life. I discovered I am a people person and love to see people change in positive ways. I love to discover how people are different and unique. They all have different sets of gifts, talents and abilities to solve their problems. The change process is what I like best about this business.
