What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll introduce myself and ask the customer to do the same, exchange contact information, and gather as much information I can in regards to the customers problem. I'll also ask if the contender had and special recommendations, questions, or concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My past experience as a helpdesk technician at then university of Detroit Mercy from 2008-2017 has giving a lot of my knowledge and experience. Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It usually depends on piece of parts and distance I would have to travel. Part prices can fluctuate but for a laptop screen replacement, the price and start around $30 and go up to a couple hundred dollars depending on the specs of the screen. Labor can be as crap as $20 but and go up depending on the job. I would say on a average I charge $40-75 for labor but if it's a more difficult job the price will go up.
How did you get started in this business?
My job at the university of Detroit Mercy with computers starting in 2008. After breaking my iPhone screen in 2008, I looked up parts and videos on goes to fix it myself and completed the job with no issue.
