Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take an in-depth Patient Health History, Radiography X-rays if needed, and perform Orthopedic and Neurological exams. Then I develop treatment plans for my patients based on the findings that do NOT include using opiates or steroids for back pain. I work together with each patient to meet their individual needs and adjust their treatment plans when necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 10 years as a Naval Special Operations member which focused on challenging obstacles and developing solutions to solve tackle those obstacles. My Special Operations Team saying was: "Improvise, Overcome, Adapt". I use those skills everyday of my life to help treat my patients successfully and encourage them overcome their obstacles and challenges.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The first visit is $99.00 or $149.00 with 4 Spinal X-rays , (X-rays are taken 60% of first visits). We take most Insurances, but if the patient does not have Insurance, the visit is $50.00, which includes several procedures performed depending upon the patient's needs. We also offer Cash Packages at a discounted rate.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always had an interest in understanding how the human body works, so I took that passion and focused on the spine. The reason I did that, was because my sister had Scoliosis and I wanted to learn what I could do to help relieve her pain. That is when I decided to become a Chiropractor. After my schooling, I was able to successfully reduce my sister's back pain as well as many other patients with a variety of ailments, through treating their spine. I continue to do this each day in my practice, with passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My patients come to our clinic with some type of pain which may include back, shoulder, neck, hip, wrist or other areas of the body. I have seen patients as old as 104 and twins as young as 3 weeks old. My patients come from all walks of life; retired, full and part-time workers to school-aged children.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, a new patient came to my office with Sciatica who was recommended for back surgery. After a short course of treatment, the patient's pain was resolved without drugs or surgery. He continues to be a maintenance patient here and is doing great.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise them to seek out a Chiropractor who is a good communicator and who can explain why the patient is in pain and how chiropractic treatment can fix it, in terms the patient can understand. I tend to put people on short term treatment plans of 8 to 12 visits, so patients should find a Chiropractor who develops their treatment plan to specifically address their pain and not a generalized treatment plan for all patients.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
A patient should be ready to discuss their specific pain, the length they have had it, if the pain gets more severe at certain times so that the Chiropractor can understand the exact reason for the pain. The patient needs to be honest with the Chiropractor so that the outcome is successful. Also, Chiropractors are hands-on and do NOT promote prescription drugs to help alleviate a patient's pain.
