What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our onboarding process begins with a thorough audit of current marketing, communications and sales activities. We also have deep dive leadership meetings to best understand what issue or challenge a client is having so we can best determine the proper course of marketing action. From there, we lay out a near term, mid term and long term strategic plan (up to 24 months) that details strategies, tactics, budget and expected outcomes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everyone on our team holds a bachelor's or master's degree in some aspect of marketing, journalism, public relations or communications. We have ongoing teaching and training with a variety of professional services organizations such as PRSA and AMA.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with clients of virtually all shapes and sizes and in a variety of industries -- from startups to Fortune 500 companies, from UFO hunters to law firms and everything in between.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research. Look at their experience and expertise levels and talk through the issues you want solved with several professionals before making a decision.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Goals, marketing issues and challenges, barriers to growth, realistic budgets, personnel.
