Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
LB&T makes getting started easy. I have a 4 step process to get started which helps customers made an informed decision about their back-office practices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years in income tax preparation
I have a Masters of Accountancy Degree
I have a Bachelors of Science - Business
I have an Associates of Arts - Accounting
...and many years of on-the-job training in various industries.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes!
I offer flat rate fees. I don't charge per transaction!... honestly, don't have the time to sit around and count how many times your account is touched or how many times you emailed, or text me about your money- who does that?
How did you get started in this business?
I started this business after the transition from nursing into accounting, from helping people with physical health to their financial health.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Accounting is in every business transaction ranging from individuals, gigs, and hustles, to small businesses.
In every industry, from gas stations, law firms, medical businesses, exotic/sex workers, contractors, transportation, retail to name a few
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
After the initial consultation, to ensure a pro is a good fit, make sure the business is registered and in *good standing* by searching on the registry of the state. A business cant manage yours' if it cant manage itself.
Google reviews! check out the worst-case scenario reviews to see how a business might respond to challenges or adversity.
Understand if a pro is insured or bonded? if a pro is not licensed but cares enough about the customer to insure (errors & omissions) a mistake or that of an employee.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
My initial working industry was medician or health care and in that industry - NO QUESTION IS EVER STUPID. LB&T has taken that into its business model.
