Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, Lady (new business owner) desperately came to me after being taken advantage by an online accountant platform. She paid $1,300 and those acccount did provide her any service. When she reached out to help out with her accounting, she was already 5 month behind in books. I was to gather all the information I need from her and brought her books up-to-date and resolved her sales tax delinquency with her state. Now all accounts are reconciled and all set for 2020 tax return.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When hire a pro, it is really important for the custmoer to do her/his due diligence by researching the pro and verify her/his credentials. For, example, if someone says he/she is a CPA, the customer needs to request proof of license.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The customer should be detailed in terms the type of service the custmor needs. Ask as many questiions as possible to get an understanding of what the pro is expecting of the custmor and what the customer is expecting of the Pro. This is done so to avoid any confusion in the process of performing the requesting service.
