About this pro

We are here to meet your tax preparation needs. We don't just input information from your W-2 or 1099 into our tax software. We take the time to understand each individual client and their needs, in order to maximize their tax refunds or apply tax rules to lower their tax liability.

We have been in business since 2013 registered and certified in Maryland, with clients all over the United States. Our clients are very happy with our services and return to us each year.  Don't take our word, see what our clients say about us.

We provide different refund options to help our clients select what is best for them.

We preparer income tax returns year-around, so you can call or email us any time throughout the year with any questions you might have.

What I enjoy the most about tax preparation, is being able to help individuals with limited English proficiency who are in need of an Individual Tax Identification Number in order to file their taxes. We make the process easy for them to apply for an IRS ITIN, and they get to keep their documents.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Every client receives a link to our secure portal, where they can create their unique username and password. With this portal, we send all tax-related documents in order to keep the taxpayer's personal data safe and secure.

After the client registers, we send them our engagement letter so they understand our policies and procedures as well as our services. We follow up with an onboarding form to complete all their basic information within a tax organizer. This way, the client can gather all of the necessary information to accurately and timely process their tax return.

After the clients complete and sends back to us their signed agreement, and client datasheet, the client will then submit their tax-related documents and we start processing their return.

We are in constant communication with each of our clients in order to ensure we capture every necessary detail to maximize their tax refund or apply the tax laws in a favorable way in an effort to lower any potential tax liability.

Clients are free to call us or email us at any time and our response time is less than 24 hours. During business hours, we respond almost immediately.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been professionally preparing individual and small business taxes since 2013. I served our community members for two consecutive years managing, training and overseeing an IRS VITA/TCE tax clinic for low-income tax preparers and the elderly.

I am registered and certified in the state of Maryland, but I am able to prepare taxes for anyone within the United States. My training is in individual tax preparation, small business, and self-employed tax preparation, as well as providing services for Pastor and Ministers.

We are also bilingual in English and Spanish, and we have signed a contract with the IRS as Certifying Acceptance Agents, able to file requests for taxpayers ITIN for those who are not eligible to obtain a social security number.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We have competitive per-form fees starting at $175 for Federal tax preparation. We do not overcharge our clients and the majority of our clients pay less than what the competition charges.

We understand that not every client is able to pay their tax preparation fees upfront, so we have partnered with a bank product where they can have their fees deducted from their refunds, and have the rest direct deposited to their account as they normally would.  If they are in the local DC-MD-VA area, they can also come to our office and pick up a check if they do not wish to have their refund direct deposited, but we encourage everyone to use direct deposit, as that is the fastest and securest way for them to receive their refunds.

How did you get started in this business?

Because of my education in business administration, I found it easy to prepare my own tax return starting as early as 1993. Then, friends and family members started coming to me to prepare their taxes.  Soon, I found myself doing taxes for more than 30 people each year, so I decided to start learning more about it and taking tax preparation courses.  But it wasn't until 2013 when I realized how much I actually enjoy tax law and tax preparation, so I registered my business and obtained the necessary credentialing and from there on the rest is history.  Tax preparation is something I am really passionate about, especially for our migrant community, our elderly and disabled community members.

What types of customers have you worked with?

The majority of our tax clients are individual taxpayers, pastors, ministers, and self-employed individuals. We also have a small percentage of small businesses we provide tax and bookkeeping services for, and we are embarking on a journey to start providing payroll services.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

My advice is to look for a tax preparer with more than 5 years of experience, is an IRS authorized eFile provider and it is registered within the state they operate their business from.

Also, ensure that the preparer you select does business year-around and not only during tax season. You don't want a tax preparer that will just take a fee and then disappear from the radar leaving you stranded if you have any questions.
