Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I like to make sure 1st of all that the customer is comfortable. It is sometimes a little challenging telling a complete stranger your personal business all so that you can have documents notarized.
2nd, I want to make sure that my customer is fully aware of the process when it comes to notarizing important documents.
3rd, I want the customer to have an assurance that they have a professional working on their behalf at all times.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To better serve you, I currently hold the following certification and continued education:
- A Commission Insured Notary Public
- A Notary Agent for the State of Maryland with an E&O Policy of $1 Million
- An Ordained Minister & Pastor
I’ve been certified and trained by the National Notary Association.
I also have 4 years as a former Loan Originator.

How did you get started in this business?
When I was a Loan Originator, I was wanted to make sure all of my clients were happy, satisfied, and well taken care of from the initial call to the day of closing.
Even though I didn't have to, I still kept in contact with customers to make sure all was well days, weeks, and months after their closing.
With that being said, I would ask the Notary Signing Agent if everything went ok? Did the customer have any questions? I even asked the Notary if he/she had any questions for me because I just wanted to make sure everything was good. And so, I inquired about Signing Agents and the process of becoming one.
And because I was already knowledgeable in the processing of the loan, adding the icing to the cake is learning what the Notary did was key for me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've had the opportunity to serve all those from low-income families to million-dollar homes.
I've worked with families who needed me to hold their hands all throughout the process to those who thought they knew my job better than I did. ;-))
It doesn't matter how much or how little money my customers have and or had when going through such a process as buying or refinancing their home, but knowing that they received professional customer service from my company is rewarding enough
