I help people to overcome obstacles and/or simply perform their best. I see awareness as a key and utilize a collaborative approach in the work I do with clients. Thoughts, emotions, physiology, and behaviors are brought into awareness. Building awareness of these factors, building awareness of relationship patterns (sometimes using the client/counselor relationship), and emotionally working through tough areas, often leads to feeling and performing better.
The breadth of my interests and training experiences allow me to have a unique perspective on both counseling and mental skills coaching. My informal style allows for rapport to be built easily. I aim to have people feel safe as they explore their struggles and their successes.
I enjoy understanding people at a deeper level, in a manner that facilitates achievement of the goals they lay out for themselves.
