I have I am very passionate about helping others resolve issues of trauma, separation, emotional distress and relationships. Counseling involves working together to assist in changing with homework assignments. My intention is to make counseling an experience that promotes your well being as well as to help you understand yourself and give you tools to improve and decrease those issue that brought you to seek counseling.
been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 30 years. In addition I have had my own journey with family conflict.
As a result I am passionate with assisting others with psycho- education and various tools and resources to alleviate family emotional pain. My training is in systemic theory. I work with individual, couples and families as well as extended family members’ in conflictual relationship with other family members.
My specialties include trauma, PTSD, separation and loss, conflict resolution, parenting, child development and behavioral issues. I have worked with foster care, adoptive children, the elderly, DCF, military families and the juvenile court system for many years.
