About

Feel that traditional therapy is not for you? Jonathan started YouTime Coaching almost a decade ago with an ambitious core belief: if you provide compassionate support, positive modeling, and skillful accountability, personal growth and change are very possible.

We've had major success working with many young people, adults, and families when it comes to academic/work struggles, transitional challenges, focus/attention issues, communication, motivation, performance related challenges, and self-confidence.

YouTime specializes in ADHD, executive functioning, anxiety/depression, and sport/performance psychology related issues. We have seen it all (so it takes a lot to shock, no judgment here). We offer Youth and Adult Life Coaching as well as Parent Coaching. (www.youtimecoach.com)

My background is a Master's in Sport/Performance Psychology and Counseling from Boston University and I'm in this with you. Traditional therapy starts and ends in the office. YouTime Coaching utilizes "in-between time" through call/text/email to provide the support necessary to maintain positive momentum throughout the week. Also, we do not meet in an office setting but on more neutral turf in the community. Learn more at the website.

    Frequently asked questions

I try to keep this pretty straight forward and easy. First, you fill out a short online intake to give me a little more information about what is going on. Next, we jump on a phone call to see if this type of support is a good match for the changes you are looking to make (and to get to know each other a little bit). Last, you give some thought to whether or not you want to start working together and at this point, you will have a good idea.

    • Master's Degree in Sport/Performance Psychology and Counseling from Boston University

    • Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Rhode Island

    • Accepted as 1 of 4 individuals to the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at Northeastern University (chose to develop the company instead)

    • 10 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families (parents included!)

There is a sliding scale depending on how many clients I am working with and my schedule. Usually, the program pricing is charged monthly but can be altered if necessary. Sessions average $175-225/hour.

Thirty seconds of paralysis is all it took to force Jonathan into the world of Sport and Performance Psychology. Following a neck injury sustained in a senior year Varsity baseball game, Jonathan battled the mental and physical rigors of returning to play competitive baseball again. Overcoming the adversity, Jonathan was invited to pitch at a competitive Division I school, and this is where his passion for working with individuals began.

Jonathan attended the University of Rhode Island to obtain a degree in Kinesiology and Psychology before coming up to Boston to earn his Master’s Degree in Counseling and Sport Psychology from Boston University. In addition to his work with YouTime Coaching, Jonathan serves as a consultant for a private psychiatric facility in Boston where he runs life coaching based groups and is currently developing a life coaching and happiness based app.
